Happy Christmas Eve to you all! May your homes be filled with warmth and love this and every night!
May the Lord continue to be with and bless you richly! May He make Himself known to you ever more this Christmas, throughout 2015 and beyond! Praise God from Whom ALL blessings flow!

Devotional
“For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the LORD” (Luke 2:11).
“Where is He that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen His star in the east, and are come to worship Him” (Matthew 2:2).
Joshua 24:15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
I do NOT believe the verse from Joshua is talking about who can host the most elaborate Christmas party or who stuffs the most Easter eggs with candy. Serving God is an all-day, every day, personal relationship with Jesus Christ. As a result of our walk with Him, He blesses us with a servant’s heart. We as Believers MUST commit. Our Lord is a jealous God and rightfully so!
The Lord CLEARLY tells us that He shares His glory with NO other! Believer, grab hold of Father God! Life is going to toss and turn you in many directions! He promises to never let go of us, even when our grasp tends to loosen at times!
There are a few months until April, may I suggest (and I am talking to myself as well), we purpose in our hearts to stay in the Word and remain in constant communication with the Father!
Can you imagine paying fees for something and never accessing it? What if it was a gift, would you have the same attitude, or would you tend to take it more for granted that it did not cost you anything, personally? JESUS PAID FOR US TO HAVE FULL ACCESS TO GOD THE FATHER BY SHEDDING HIS BLOOD! It was not a trinket or a clearance item given for our ransom! As the price for the penalty of our sins, the cost was so phenomenal, no value ever before, nor since could be realized!
Jesus Christ had to suffer, die and rise again, conquering death to bring us to where we are today! Christ had to endure His Father turning His back on Him! Being unable to behold His Own Son! The Father had to experience the agony of sacrificing His Child as Redemption for the lives of sinners!
UTILIZE YOUR FREE ACCESS! Consider where you would be, how your life would look WITHOUT Christ and perhaps that will give perspective as to how magnificent He truly is! HIS N A M E is POWER! His NAME casts out demons and heals! The sound of His voice can create, calm wind and seas! How MIGHTY IS OUR GOD! Now this has just gotten me all excited, how about you!
April 5 Easter Sunday 2015.
As days, weeks and months fly by so quickly, please maintain momentum to read and study the Scriptures! Don’t go from “Joy to the World” and not sing another praise until recognition of the resurrection! Is Christ our Lord and King not worth more acknowledgement than a few days on our calendar? The time leading up to tomorrow is wonderful indeed; let’s stay ever vigilant to keep Christ CENTRAL in our lives every day!
When all the “after Christmas” sales start and things get marked down until they are just too inexpensive for some to resist; avoid adopting the attitude that Christmas is just a season of the year! Our Lord’s birth deserves more honor than to be packed away with the trees, snowmen and Nativity scenes!
Prayer
Almighty Father God
We cannot thank You enough for sending Your Son
As the Sacrifice for our sins
We offer our praise to the Holy Ghost
Who gently and perfectly
Placed the Christ Child in Mary’s womb
Our Precious Gift
Who offers guidance, comfort and peace
To Jesus the Son
Who came to earth in obedience
Dwelt among us
Living a sinless life
And went willingly to the cross
Lord, Your ways are so far above our understanding
The Trinity
Jesus Christ being all Man and yet all God
A Father so willing to send His Only Begotten Son
As Deliverer and Redeemer to a sinful and wicked mankind
A Son obedient to death, even death on a cross
A Holy Spirit Who does so much more than we realize
Translating the Word to our spirit, urging us to obey, comforting, offering peace
We do not understand a love so awesome, wonderful and perfect
Sleeping in a manger, hanging from a cross, RISING AGAIN and going to prepare room for us to join our Savior for all eternity
We are thankful, though
We do not have to comprehend to appreciate
Father, let this year hold wonders we could have never expected
We pray that there will be some this time next year who indeed came to realize
Through Your calling
You ALONE are God!
Please let those who get consumed with giving one another gifts and eagerly anticipate what it is wrapped with their own names attached
Come to realize that it is not about giving or exchanging packages
Draw them, we pray, to the foot of the cross
To the reality and thrill of the EMPTY grave and a LIVING Lord!
It is through the shed blood of Christ
In the Name of our Precious Jesus
We pray
AMEN
