Devotional: Return To Glory~Jesus’ Journey From Manger To The Empty Tomb

1 Corinthians 15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

Luke 2:7 And she brought forth her Firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling clothes, and laid Him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.

Matthew 28:5 And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.6 He is not here: for He is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.

Mark 16:19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, He was received up into heaven, and sat on the Right Hand of God.

Revelation 20: 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

Step by step, God reveals His awesome plan to us! Only our Creator could weave together something so beautiful and perfect!

Through the pages of Scripture, we are escorted from King Jesus occupying a manger to victoriously vacating the tomb!

We serve a RISEN LORD!

Precious and Mighty God
Christ has risen
He has risen indeed!

Thank You!

Praise be to the King above all kings
Who has power and authority over life and death

Praise to our Savior, Jesus Christ, Who bore
Our sins on the cross
To offer the security of Paradise
Rather than eternal damnation

Scriptures tell us in Isaiah 53 that “by His stripes we are healed”

Thank You for our Advocate
Defending us against lies and accusations of the enemy

All hail to our Mighty Lamb of God
Who was not found in the grave where He was placed

How the children of the Most High eagerly anticipate
The day
Every tongue will confess Jesus as Lord
To the glory of God the Father

Thank You for the Holy Spirit Who draws us to desire for a relationship with the Savior
For the conviction, correction and comfort

From now until You return and forever more, there are reasons to offer praise

Today, we draw to an end by giving to honor to our Risen Master!

Through the Name of Jesus Christ and the power of His blood we pray

“Mary Did You Know?”

“Were You There?”

“In Christ Alone”

“Because We Believe”

“Glorious Day!”

About voicevessel bwc

First, and most importantly, I love Jesus Christ and I trust in Him as my Lord and Savior. I was raised in a Christian home by a godly dad and mom (who planned and had me in July before turning 42 in August), and 5 older siblings. My father passed away when I was 7 and my mother (who went to be with the Lord in 2005 at 81) never remarried. As a child, I was bullied at school, so I did not have many friends. I didn't want to tell my mom this because I knew she had enough worry being a widow at 50. I know what it is like to be lonely. As an adult, God showed me the value of His Friendship and has blessed me, too, with rich relationships with dear friends who also love the Lord. My husband and I (married 31 years as of 2020), have three wonderful, adult children and son-in-law as well as three darling grandchildren. Along with many others, my husband lost his job, but we refuse to be fearful or angry. The Lord has provided for us and we are so thankful for the opportunity to express gratitude through personal contact and occasional memories I share through writing. I believe the Lord has given me a venue to engage with others and a means to share His Word. Thank you for checking out my page. I hope you enjoy what you read. If there is anything positive or insightful in the devotionals (NOT CALLING MY WRITING "INSPIRED" by any means!), I give all credit and glory to Jesus Christ! On the other side of that, when something makes no sense, that's all me
