Devotional: The Great Creator, Beyond Continment, Authentic Originality, Beyond Duplication

Psalm 74:16-17

The day is Thine, the night also is Thine: Thou hast prepared the light and the sun. Thou hast set all the borders of the earth: Thou hast made summer and winter.

As I have written before, what my mom passed down to me was more of a relational heritage. She, I was so blessed to have, demonstrated what it meant to love on people and foster meaningful, lasting friendships. What I have learned about house cleaning tips, decorating, gardening advice and so on, comes from others who are knowledgeable in those areas. I tell you, I am so thankful for that!

Even though I am having to learn these things in my late forties, much information my peers got growing up, there is not one second I would exchange for the invaluable lessons my precious, godly mother taught me!

Today, I went with two of my friends to a really nice family-owned and operated nursery to get some plants and vegetables. They were both looking for things to go in pots outside their homes. Although my focus was on making some food-producing purchases, I tried to listen to what they were saying about plant boarders around the yard.

It seems that there are some plants that are just so persistent, they will take over as much space as they can, until someone cuts them down, out or contains them somehow.

God, in His infinite wisdom, set things into motion with this wonderful universe. It is so spectacular how He created things with such precision and detail. Yes, humans have come along and put names and reasoning as to why things happen the way they do, but the fact remains, even though mankind thinks it can logically explain how or why the world works as it does, His awesome works can never be replicated, not even by scientists and their wild perversions and attempts at their own attempts to “create”.

The boundaries placed around creation are those established by the Creator, unreachable, unattainable by any man. Who is able to SPEAK into being anything, or breathe the breath of life into another? Who can build a man out of the dust he made?

Our God is the Most Awesome! Who is like Him?

prayer

Father God

Indeed, there is not another like You

All praise, honor and glory for all things You have done

Thank You for this glorious creation

From the daylight and ocean to every breath we’re given

You Are truly AMAZING

Powerful and

We bow in awe of You!

In the Name of Jesus,

AMEN

About voicevessel bwc

First, and most importantly, I love Jesus Christ and I trust in Him as my Lord and Savior. I was raised in a Christian home by a godly dad and mom (who planned and had me in July before turning 42 in August), and 5 older siblings. My father passed away when I was 7 and my mother (who went to be with the Lord in 2005 at 81) never remarried. As a child, I was bullied at school, so I did not have many friends. I didn't want to tell my mom this because I knew she had enough worry being a widow at 50. I know what it is like to be lonely. As an adult, God showed me the value of His Friendship and has blessed me, too, with rich relationships with dear friends who also love the Lord. My husband and I (married 31 years as of 2020), have three wonderful, adult children and son-in-law as well as three darling grandchildren. Along with many others, my husband lost his job, but we refuse to be fearful or angry. The Lord has provided for us and we are so thankful for the opportunity to express gratitude through personal contact and occasional memories I share through writing. I believe the Lord has given me a venue to engage with others and a means to share His Word. Thank you for checking out my page. I hope you enjoy what you read. If there is anything positive or insightful in the devotionals (NOT CALLING MY WRITING "INSPIRED" by any means!), I give all credit and glory to Jesus Christ! On the other side of that, when something makes no sense, that's all me
